Dear Friends,

 We in the Pro-Life ministry would like to welcome you to our St. Paul’s link to life.  As you know, the cultural trends of today are in conflict in many ways with Catholic doctrine on the issues of life.  However, just as Jesus was not apprehensive and fearful when speaking out about the evils of society he lived in while he preached and taught during his ministry, so should we.  The evils of abortion, euthanasia, and the many other atrocities against life exist today and continue to be advocated by the strident minority.  The Catholic faith does not condone these types of practices.  Our Blessed Virgin Mary and many other saints both living and dead have spoken out most forcefully on the issues of life.  The question we must ask ourselves is: do we know something they do not?  We can answer that simply by looking into our hearts and discerning that by allowing the destruction of innocent life we undermine the will of God and substitute it with our own selfish desires.  With that thought in the forefront, let us dedicate ourselves to this most important issue of the culture of life.  This can be accomplished in many different ways but should always be done with love and compassion.

Mission:

The intent of the Pro-Life Ministry of Saint Paul’s is to foster a culture of life.  We will strive to gain a Catholic understanding on the issues of life and conduct activities that will promote this mission.

Vision:

We see ourselves and those around us becoming more informed on the issues of life.  As a result, we will be more confident that our personal and public decisions on life will conform to Catholic doctrine and teaching.

Goals:

To individually become more knowledgeable about those issues that impact the sanctity of life and to ultimately enlighten and convert the minds and hearts around us.
